Player visible on paid content
« on: April 05, 2017, 03:17:11 pm »
Hi all,

So strange issue. I am using a paid membership plugin for Blurry content. Problem is we just discovered that the "media player" displays even if the person does not pay. What this causes is the content to be shown and thus ruins the point of paid content.

The rest of it works great iTunes, stats ect.

Is there a work around?

George

Ok so quick question...  it seems the default channel has all the podcasts it's called PODCAST. How do we change that to another category? Let me know and THANK YOU

You'll need to turn on Category Podcasting in the PowerPress settings:
https://create.blubrry.com/resources/powerpress/advanced-tools-and-options/category-podcasting/
Be sure to enable Strict Category Podcasting within the Category Podcasting settings. Then, you'll need to edit the posts currently assigned to the default podcast channel so they're now in the new podcast category you just created.

The best thing to do at this point would be to send an e-mail to support@blubrry.com with the nature of your problem and someone will get back to you with assistance.
