Wrong artwork and feed subscribe links on our 2nd podcast channel
« on: September 02, 2018, 07:12:12 pm »
I recently set up a 2nd podcast and new podcast channel. When I publish a post/episode to my blog, the audio is correct, but the artwork and links to subscribe to the feed are for my MAIN podcast feed and not the new one. I must be missing some setting somewhere?? This is an example: https://www.stingerpodcast.com/ozark-recap-season-2-episode-3/ - the artwork/subscribe links should be for Ozark, not Stinger.

When you set up the second show, did you create a Custom Channel or are you using Category Podcasting?

A couple things to try:

If your WordPress installation is linked to your Blubrry account, you'll need to unlink it. This is necessary when you run more than one podcast thru a single installation as you're doing:
1.) Log into your WordPress dashboard and go to PowerPress >> Settings, Advanced Mode >> Services & Stats and click the "Click here to configure..." button
2.) Enter your Blubrry username and password into the popup box and click Remove and follow any confirmation screens that come up after

Going forward, you will have to upload your media files directly thru the dashboard at blubrry.com for each show and then copy/paste your media file URLs from the dashboard in to the Podcast Episode box:
https://create.blubrry.com/resources/powerpress/powerpress-settings/services-stats/

For each podcast channel on your site, you will need to enter that show's unique stats redirect URL:
1.) Click the Podcast Channels link inside the PowerPress menu
2.) Click the Edit link underneath Ozark TV Podcast and go to the Other tab, copy/paste this URL into the Stats Redirect field and click the Save Changes button:
https://media.blubrry.com/unofficialozarktvpodcast/
3.) Go back to the Podcast Channels page (if you're not already there) and click the Edit link underneath Stinger TV and go to the Other tab, copy/paste this URL into Stats Redirect field and click the Save Changes button:
https://media.blubrry.com/stingerpodcast/

If you have any caching services/plugin, clear them after you make the changes and give the Blubrry Audio Players on your site a day or so to catch up.
