Using stats with Podbean
« on: April 06, 2018, 02:52:21 pm »
Hi, I have a podcast that I host on Podbean (I know, I know, lol) and I signed up for the professional stats a few months ago.  I am wondering how I can get the stats to work on my podcast.  I have it installed on my WordPress page, but I am extremely confused as I am getting many downloads according to the Podbean stats but the Blubrry stats don't show anything aside from when I download to my site for the most part.  Sorry for the noob here, just no clue what to do.

website is www.heavydrinkingpodcast.com and the podbean site is https://heavydrinkingpodcast.podbean.com/

On Blubrry directory the show is https://www.blubrry.com/heavydrinking/

If you're using a PodBean-generated podcast feed to distribute your show to services like Apple Podcasts, etc., you can't use third-party stats from services like Blubrry. This is due to limitations PodBean has put on its system.

If you're using a feed generated by the PowerPress plugin and only using PodBean for media hosting, link your WordPress installation with your Blubrry account using these instructions:
https://create.blubrry.com/resources/powerpress/powerpress-settings/services-stats/

Doing so will add your Blubrry stats redirect URL to your PowerPress settings and that'll allow the Blubrry stats system to start tracking your downloads.
