Podcast Episode Description Not Correct
« on: October 23, 2016, 10:24:33 am »
Hello!  I have an issue.  iTunes approved my PC, which I am very excited about!  However, when I go to iTunes it shows my 1st paragraph of my blog post not my episode description.  Been searching for days how to fix this!  Someone in the iTunes forum suggested I come here.

Any ideas??

Here's my iTunes URL: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/your-shift-matters-podcast/id1167565421
Here's my feed URL: http://www.sourceyourjoy.com/feed/podcast/

Help and guidance would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks in advance!

Log into your WordPress site and go to PowerPress >> Settings, Advanced Mode >> Episodes >> Check the box next to "iTunes Summary Field (Leave unchecked to use your blog post)" and click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page. Now, you should see iTunes Summary field within the Podcast Episode box of your WordPress posts. Place the iTunes Summaries you want to use within the iTunes Summary fields of your posts and update to the posts. It may take up to 24 hours before the changes will be reflected in your iTunes Store listing.

Shawn -THANK YOU!!!   I knew it had to be an easy fix but I searched for days and got lots of "difficult" solutions thrown at me!  Clearly I should have come here first!  Would have saved me hours of aggravation.

I've updated all my episodes and will check back to make sure they update accordingly.

Thanks so much!
