"You are not authorized to access this area" issue

I am trying to connect my plugin to the free statistics to try it out before purchasing the more extensive package.

I created an account and added the feed but it didn't show up at all in my account when I go to the dashboard (and I can't re add it because it says that the feed "already exists on this site."

When I tried to login to the account via the plugin to connect it says "You are not authorized to access this area."

Any idea what I need to do in order to get the statistics setup for my account?
