Podcast Intro Music
« on: November 26, 2015, 01:45:32 pm »
I am starting a new podcast show called HowLongHaveIBeenThere. When it is live I will be posting it on here so you should give it a listen.
But the reason I am posting in the 'Help me out' section is I'm struggling to get my hands on some decent intro and outro music for the show and wondered if anyone can help me out.
The show is just me talking about general topics that I think about and talk about with my friends and family, plus any questions that I get sent in.
I feel like rock or alternative rock would suit the show and the style I want the show to be but I'm open to suggestions.

Thanks in advanced!!

Most of the music on Jamendo (https://www.jamendo.com/) is available for free and it's licensed under Creative Commons. If you find something you like there, you can ask the artist if it's OK to use part of their song for intro music. They're usually pretty agreeable to these kinds of things.

If you're OK with spending a little money, there are plenty of producers who offer this type of service thru Fiverr (http://www.fiverr.com/).

The biggest thing to keep in mind is that you want something that either completely own/control or that it has the necessary licensing (such as Creative Commons) that'll allow you to use it without facing any potential legal issues.
