New Google Tags and RSS Feed Validators

Please be aware that sites like FeedValidator have not been updated in years.. Thus they only know about the original RSS spec created 10+ years ago.. Google / RawVoice / Blubrry have all added tags / namespaces that are well documented and allowed.  When you validate your feed on Feedvalidator it's definition engine is missing our and Google Specs resulting in false warnings.

There are a number of other podcast feed validators that are rushing to add the new Google Tags / Namespaces which we now support in PowerPress.. So do not worry your feed is still valid even if these services complain. Please note it is highly unlikely that FeedValidator will ever be updated it has largely been abandoned.  Here are two sites that are much better alternatives.
