Autocomplete not working correctly when making new post in Safari

New to the forum. I'm not sure if this is a PowerPress bug or an issue with Safari on my Mac. Once per week I make a new blog post with a podcast. In the "Podcast Episode" section of my Add New Post page in WordPress, there's the box to type in "Media URL." Until sometime in September last year I could begin typing a link in that box and some sort of autocomplete feature would automatically bring up a list of the last several URLs I had typed in the box (I wanted to attach an image here, but I don't see that option so there's a link below). Every week i could get the last link to pop up at the top of the autocomplete list, and I'd only have to change a character or two to make it current (there are dates in my URLs, so I'd only have to change a digit or two every week). So the issue since last fall has been that it no longer remembers current URLs that were typed in. As you can see from the image it still wants to suggest a 2014-09-14 even though I'm now up to 2015-06-28 as of yesterday. Although it's not a huge inconvenience, still I'd really like to get this autocomplete feature working correctly again if that's possible. I hope this question makes sense, and that someone has a solution. Thanks.
Mac OS 10.10.3
Safari version 8.0.6

There's nothing in PowerPress that would affect Safari's autofill function. Apple probably slid in an update recently that changed the autofill behavior. I looked around but couldn't find anyway to change how autofill works.

Yes, I believe this would be more correctly called "autofill". Still hoping for a solution as I continue to research. I am not open to changing browsers either, as I use Safari on all devices so that I can sync bookmarks, open tabs, etc.
