How do "New" Stitcher stats show up in blubrry stats?
« on: March 19, 2014, 01:22:05 pm »
It looks like back in 2013 Stitcher started to "ping" the podcast server every time someone listened to a podcast episode through stitcher.   They do this by downloading 1Kb of the podcast each time.  I was just wondering, how will this show up in blubrry statistics?  Will downloading only 1Kb count among the "unique" listeners, or only among the "total" since it does not download the entire episode?

Stitcher stats will show up in the "clients" sections of the podcast stats. It will show up in the total and unique totals as well..  If you do not have the premium stats you may not see it in the client list as we only show like the first 10 clients in the free stats, there are typically close to a 100 clients per episode on most shows.

Okay, that makes sense, thanks. I've seen it in the clients list before.
