Separating Free and Premium Content
« on: September 04, 2013, 02:31:17 pm »
We've been using a podcast for premium course content that sits behind a paywall on our site and we've been using powerpress for that. None of these episodes have been setup with iTunes and aren't tagged. We just use powerpress to manage the audio.

We are now starting a podcast that will be available to the public. Again we'll use powerpress. How do I set up our feed so that only our free content gets pulled into iTunes and other directories?

You need a 2nd Podcast Channel feed that is not protected. Enable Podcast channels to be able to set this up, if not enabled already.

BTW you could also use PowerPress Post Type Podcasting depending on how your membership plugin manages membership, it may be a better solution.
