Podcast Episode saved but not published
« on: September 09, 2012, 07:14:04 pm »
Hi,

I've been searching everywhere however am stumped. Hopefully someone will be able to help.

I have uploaded my latest podcast episode, however have received an error message saying  that the post has been saved but not published because it is the wrong mHz.

We have triple checked and the mHz is within the specified range; I have listened to the entire show and it sounds normal (no chipmunk sounding voices). What else could be happening?

Thanks for any feedback. We have just tried uploading another show and getting the same message.

Thanks

Annemarie

Playing the media file in Windows media player doesn't mean it's the right Mhz. It's a playback issue in flash players. Learn more here: http://www.podcastfaq.com/creating-podcast/audio/mp3-mpeg-layer-3-tips/

Right click and select 'Properties' on the media file, then view the media info, it will say what the Mhz is. Your audio editing software should also have this as a setting, if not already displayed on the screen.
