Blubrry AND Embeded player showing
« on: November 14, 2010, 12:59:42 am »
Hello,
I am working on a netcast using Blip.TV. I would like to use their player but still have the post create a podcast

In the PowerPress settings I selected/checked the following options:
- Embed Field (Enter embed code from sites such as YouTube, Viddler and Blip.tv)
and
- Replace Player with Embed (Do not display default player if embed present for episode.)

Then on the post, I entered the Blip.TV embed code. The podcast data will not save unless if the "Media URL" is filled out.

However, when previewing the post, even with the above options selected, it display both the Blip.TV player AND the Blubrry player.

Here's the link in question:
http://techartsnetwork.com/?p=919&preview=true

WordPress installation: 3.0.1
Blubrry PowerPress 1.0.11

Any thoughts?
Thanks,
MCB

The link you gave is a 404 here.

But, what you need to do is put the embed code in the embed code area in your post and where the media URL is, put the link to the original file on blip.tv (not the embed code).  Also do not put the embed code in your post text area, just put it in the powerpress podcast episode embed code area.

Hope this helps!
