Auto-detect not working with 0.9.11, was working at 0.9.5

I'm trying to get PowerPress 0.9.11 working with WordPress MU 2.8.4a. When I attempt to give it the URL of a media resource stored on the local server (the full URL path, not the server path) it says it can't detect the size of the file; when I do it on the same file on a remote server, it works fine.

However, this is all working just fine as of PowerPress 0.9.5 under WordPress MU 2.8.4a; it will allow me to insert the URL to the local file resource without any complaints. When I'd go back and look at the enclose information, it lists the file size and duration.

Blubrry diagnostics tells me:

"Your web server supports the PHP cURL library. Your web server is also configured with the php.ini setting 'allow_url_fopen' enabled, but the cURL library takes precedence."

I'm running PHP 5.1.2.

Thoughts?

I'm seeing the same behavior in 1.0.2. When I attempt to verify the media file, I get the error message:

"Error occurred obtaining media file size."

Can you reply with the URL to the media file so we can test?

I'm having the same scenario. (plugin worked, until i recently upgraded) you can try my url:

I am able to Verify these URLs in my copy of PowerPress, v 1.0.3. Perhaps something has changed on your server that is causing the problem. Can you go to the PowerPress menu > Tools page and click 'Diagnostics'. If everything checks out, please email the results to cio [at] rawvoice.com then send me a follow up Email that you're still having problems Verifying your media files.
