Title: Stranded By Vista?
Post by: rawvoicemarketing on February 09, 2007, 09:52:54 am
We're getting reports that the Juice (http://juicereceiver.sourceforge.net) podcatcher does not work with Microsoft Vista. This is in addition to the fact that iTunes and iPods (http://www.macnn.com/articles/07/02/02/itunes..vista.problems/) do not yet work with Vista.

If anyone out there is working with Vista let us know what you're seeing and what you're using to catch podcasts.

If this is the case for most. All I have to say is
What @#!%&?* was Microsoft thinking?
Do they hate podcasts?

Word is that the Podnova (http://www.podnova.com/) podcatcher is slated for an upgrade within the next two weeks. By that time iTunes should be ready. I still can't figure out why Microsoft didn't put podcatching features in Windows Media Player for Vista.

It's not that surprising when you think about it.  it took Microsoft FOREVER to believe that this whole "internet" thingy was going to take off.  I still don't believe they have great blogging support either.  Oh well, you can afford to be slow if you're as huge as them I guess.  Besides, at least they make one heck of a great MP3 player.  *cough*
