It's pretty lame that Digg moved all Podcast related topics to video, because people who go to the video section want to find videos, not podcasts unless the podcast itself is a video show.
When I link my individual shows, I don't tell people I have a podcast, I just give a discription and then say "Listen right here:...." with a link. When they go to the sight, they will discover it is a internet radio show that is accessible as a downloadable podcast thru iTunes.
I don't like saying the word "Podcast", because most people either don't understand it or have reservations against it before even looking at what you have. I like to let people decide for themselves if they want to subscribe to my show by announcing it in my show towards the end. If they subscribe, I know they listened until the very end of the show.
The results: from 90 to nearly 350 iTunes subscribers per day
