"No episodes found in feed" error message
« on: November 21, 2018, 06:44:14 pm »
I have a podcast with Blubrry already, which I have linked to my website (I use PowerPress) and have published half a dozen episodes to.

I have just created a second podcast, separate to the first podcast, with a different genre and content, but I'm having trouble with Blubrry recognising this second podcast.

The feed for this second podcast has already been validated: http://castfeedvalidator.com/?url=https://www.campion.edu.au/feed/podcast-special/. This podcast has its own image, its own name and feed description, all of which I have filled out or uploaded to PowerPress, and I have an episode ready to upload.

However, when I click on "+ Add Another Podcast to Directory" in the Blubrry Dashboard and fill out the details and hit submit, I get the error message: "No episodes found in feed".
I don't get this - do I have to upload the episode to my existing podcast (https://www.campion.edu.au/feed/podcast), publish it on my website and then go back to this page and fill out the info again, once it recognises a published episode? If I do this, the episode will be housed under my existing podcast, not the new one, where it belongs.

Or am I doing the wrong thing entirely by going to the "+ Add another podcast to my directory" page?

Help would be greatly appreciated!

Please go here:
https://www.blubrry.com/contact/
Click the Select link underneath All Other Inquiries and choose Technical Support. Fill out the form with your questions and someone will get back to you with assistance. We may need account information that wouldn't be good to post on a public forum.
