Hello! I currently host a podcast on a single wordpress page (chronicle.su/radio) And here's my question: How do I get the plugin to update the RSS feed after I attach audio to chronicle.su/radio specifically?
The podcast feed currently shows a rather arbitrary smattering of blog post entries (the main site is a satirical news outlet) based on the fact I attached audio to those posts in the past. I could see that being helpful if I only used wordpress for a podcast, but I have always relegated the podcast to a single page, separate from the main site content. The site's main purpose is text-based humor, to which the podcast is secondary.
I just installed the blubrry powerpress wordpress plugin, followed a short tutorial, and got it setup and running just fine. It's doing what it's supposed to do with a default setup. This is good. However, I do not know how to change the plugin's behavior; specifically, I'd really like to know the best way to populate the RSS feed using either 1) any audio uploaded or 2) any audio uploaded specifically to /radio/ (preferred).
It seems logical to me that powerpress can just as easily tap into Wordpress' default behavior for handling media files, just as it uses wordpress' default behavior for handling new enclosures added to blog posts, because any audio uploaded to /radio/ is automatically designated an attachment/enclosure to that page, and even gets its own convenient hyperlink when uploaded (for example:
