Okay, so I got this from iTunes  :( :-[:

"iTunes Store Welcome

Dear Podcast Owner

The podcast located at the URL shown below has been blocked or removed from the iTunes directory as a result of technical problems with the feed.

MZPodcastEmail.NameColon The Practice of Therapy Podcast with Gordon Brewer, LMFT
MZPodcastEmail.FeedURLColon http://practiceoftherapy.com/feed/podcast/

If you wish to reactivate your podcast in the iTunes directory, please troubleshoot your feed and check the functionality of each episode. To test your podcast, start iTunes, select Subscribe to Podcast from the Advanced menu, and enter your feed URL in the dialog box. If you can successfully subscribe to your podcast and listen to each of the episodes, you can reactivate your podcast by resubmitting the feed using the Submit a Podcast page, https://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZFinance.woa/wa/publishPodcast.

For more information on troubleshooting feed problems and controlling the appearance of your podcast on iTunes, please see the podcast FAQ at http://www.apple.com/itunes/podcasts/faq.html and technical specification at http://www.apple.com/itunes/podcasts/techspecs.html.

Sincerely,

The iTunes Store Team"

So one solution I thought I should try, which I have done, is re-submitting a new feed directly from Libsyn instead of from my website.  Now I need to know how to set up the Blubrry plugin to be compatible with that.

I see that there is the "Import Podcast" feature.  Should I use this?  Again, I am trying to preserve what I have already.

Thanks!

PowerPress doesn't have a continuous import function. The Import Tool built in to PowerPress is meant to be used as a one-and-done precedure for importing an existing podcast into a WordPress site. The only option that'll work for using both WordPress/PowerPress and your Libsyn feed together will be to manually post your episodes in both locations.

So I think I have been doing that anyway... I upload the audio to Libsyn and fill in the details of the show in Libsyn; copy the direct download url from Libsyn to the blog post/show notes into the Media Url for the Blubrry podcast plugin at the bottom of the post.  Then publish the blog post.   It seems like I might be duplicating efforts.   I like the fact that the player is at the top of the blog post when I publish.

I guess the big question is do I need to change any of the settings in Blubrry now that I have switched to using the Libsyn Feed directly to iTunes.

Thanks for all your effort with me on all this!!

The best thing to retain all subscribers when moving a podcast RSS feed is to redirect the current feed URL to the new feed URL:
https://create.blubrry.com/manual/syndicating-your-podcast-rss-feeds/changing-your-podcast-rss-feed-address-url/

You'll also want to put a link to the Libsyn-hosted feed in your PowerPress settings by doing this:
1.) Log in to your WordPress site
2.) Hover over the PowerPress link in the lefthand sidebar and click on Custom Channels in the popup menu
3.) Click the Edit link underneath Podcast (default channel)
4.) Copy/paste the Libsyn feed URL into the FeedBurner Feed URL field (don't worry, this has nothing to do with FeedBurner)

Doing this will change any PowerPress-generated links to your RSS feed to point to the Libsyn feed. Note: this has nothing to do with the redirect information in the above link. If possible, you should do both of these things.
