Ugly URL in Facebook link previews
« on: December 01, 2017, 10:15:24 am »
Hi, can't find an answer to this on the forum or elsewhere.

Whenever I post a link to an episode, the snippet of text included in the preview on Facebook begins with an ugly URL (https://media.blubrry.com/howtoread/p/content/ etc.) corresponding to the audio file. Here's an example of a page for which it's happening:

https://www.howtoreadpodcast.com/nicholas-dames-the-history-of-the-chapter/

This not only looks unprofessional but also prevents people from reading the correct preview text.

Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone have a solution?

Change the settings in the Website tab so that the media player is below the content instead of on top of the content and see if that makes a difference.
