RSS Feed not distributing automatically
« on: November 25, 2017, 03:09:00 pm »
Hey guys, I'm not overly tech savvy so please excuse any words I fumble.
I recently released my first podcast. I spent a while trying to find a free way to create an RSS feed and eventually landed on the following:
I upload my audio files to archive.org
I embed those audio files in wordpress blog posts
I take the feed created by wordpress and send it to Google's feedburner
My podcast got approved by Podcast connect and is on the iTunes podcast store. However, I have recently been informed that it is not appearing on Podcast Addict. I assume this may be the case for other Android podcast apps as well.
Does anybody know where I'm going wrong? Am I missing a step in distributing my feed to podcast apps? My friend has a podcast and he uses Soundcloud premium, and his RSS feed gets automatically distributed to all podcast apps as far as I know.
Here are links to relevant pages.

Podcast Addict likely populates its search results based on what it pulls from iTunes API. If your show has only been in the iTunes Store for a few days, it's possible Podcast Addict hasn't indexed it yet.

Also, be sure you're using https://subscribeonandroid.com/ to make it easy as possible for all Android users to get your show.
