Hi Angelo and Blubrry team and community!

I'm relaunching my podcast!!!  And in doing so, am splitting it up into 2 shows: a daily show (daily bits) and a Saturday show (weekly recap).  I have created new categories in WordPress to reflect this:

Parent category = "Podcast"
Children categories = "daily-bit" and "weekly-recap"

The way PowerPress was set up before the launch of the new show: it was only one feed at http://technestreport.com/blog/feed/podcast/

My question:
- I want to create 3 feeds: 2 separate feeds - 1 for the Daily bit and the other for Weekly Recap.
- I also want to have one "all-inclusive" feed.  This feed will be the original podcast PowerPress feed (the one I posted above).

So now I am making the Daily Bit feed.  What should I type under "slug" in PowerPress, on the "custom feeds" page?  I want the page http://technestreport.com/blog/category/podcast/daily-bit/ to have a list of all the daily bits (WordPress style) and am simply looking for PowerPress to look at that category URL to update the feed.  I don't want it to overtake that URL and display the feed.  Therefore, I'd like the feed URL to be something like http://technestreport.com/blog/feed/podcast/daily-bit/

What should I do?

I've tried making the slug "daily-bit" but doing so makes the feed page be http://technestreport.com/blog/category/daily-bit -- something I don't want to happen.

Thanks so much for reading through my incoherent post!

- Alex from TechNest Report

The custom feeds option is intended for those who create different types of media, e.g. video and audio. I think the new category podcast feeds option would be a better fit for you.

Since you're already organizing your podcast using WordPress categories, you can utilize the new Category Podcast Feeds feature in PowerPress 0.8. It will allow you to add podcasting support to each category feed. Just go to the PowerPress > Category Feeds section, select the category you want to add podcasting to, and configure.

Angelo, once again - thanks so much!  That's exactly what I was trying to do, but somehow missed the update to the latest version.  It all works perfectly now!  Time to submit to iTunes.  Yay!

PS, I posted a little love note on Twitter about Blubrry http://twitter.com/sashok/status/2030048767
