Our feed works in iTunes just fine, the validator does not validate it due to iTunes image URL being HTTPS. As far as I can tell. Because it doesn't validate, Stitcher won't validate it either to allow submission. Below is the feed validation. Am I understanding it correctly? https is the issue?

http://feedvalidator.org/check.cgi?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.projectarmy.net%2Ffeed%2Fpodcast%2F

Thanks,
Viktor

I'm not sure how stitcher does it, but https:// for your image shouldn't be an issue for most podcast apps and directories.

Feedvalidator is way out of date.  Try CastFeedValidator.com or http://podba.se.  On both of those, your feed checks out fine.

You might have to contact stitcher to find out what the issue is.

Thanks Mike. Sorry for late reply. I was able to get Stitcher to add feed manually on their end back in December, but it never started to work. It lists the show in their partner portal, but no data being pulled. I was unable to get a reply from them until today, they said feed was not valid using feedvalidator.

I sent them another email, pointing to a discussion feedvalidator developer had with other people on HTTPS issue and recommended looking at castfeedvalidator instead of feedvalidator. So I'm waiting on a reply now again. Hopefully it'll come quickly.

I'll try to remember to post info here for future reference.

I have the same issue with my podcast RSS feed. It works on iTunes but I get an error on Stitcher.

Juspreet - the file size of your current artwork image is kinda large. It's currently at about 1.2MB. See if you can get it below 500k and then try submitting again to Stitcher. I don't see anything else that might be wrong with the file.
