Pulling Podcasts from iTunes

Hello,

I am doing research about podcasts for a nonprofit organization that wants to post podcasts onto their WordPress site. At this time, they do not have personal podcast channels, episodes, etc.

Is it possible to pull podcasts from iTunes and host on WordPress using PowerPress? Will this require podcast hosting space or will the actual files still be housed on iTunes?

iTunes doesn't provide media hosting. In fact, when it comes to podcasts, iTunes doesn't store any media files on its own servers. In order to get a podcast into the iTunes Store, you need to host the files somewhere on the Internet and generate a valid RSS 2.0 feed with the proper tags for iTunes.
