Basic Stats Not tracking in Blubrry
« on: June 23, 2015, 03:42:08 pm »
I've launched a new podcast (http://detroitlionspodcast.com) and via Wordpress and my site statistics I see a number of hits, and have had feedback on the content from a lot of people.  Its been about 40 hours since it launched and I have no stats showing up in Blubrry.  I had two test posts go up before the first episode and I show no data for those either.

When I go to Dashboard>Content>Episodes it lists all three of my uploads, so Blubrry knows they exist.  Additionally, when I go to Dashboard>Settings>General Settings Blubrry shows the proper feed location (http://www.detroitlionspodcast.com/feed/podcast/) and iTunes listing URL.

Can someone help me understand what I am missing here?

Thanks!

I looked at your feed.  The stats are implemented correctly.  Give it some time.  Your episodes have to have 10 downloads from 10 different IP addresses to start showing up in your reports.

I have to mention that it's quite likely that you are going to get a letter from the NFL or the Lions because you are using their trademark in the name of your website and your podcast show.  Also, iTunes is likely to not include your show in the iTunes directory for trademark violation.

The NFL, NBA, MLB and other sports teams are very aggressive about the use of their name.  Just beware this might happen.
