I recently moved to Powerpress from Podpress. However I just noticed that podcatcher (Zune Player) hasn't caught any of my post-powerpress podcasts. I trying unsubscribing and resubscribing, but it didn't update.

The feed is: http://www.osmcast.com/feed/podcast/
And the main site is: http://www.osmcast.com/

I can download it fine, and the flowplayer is fine.

It's just the RSS that seems to give me issues. Any help is much appreciated!

Hello Basil,

Can you email me, I would like to schedule a time when I can speak with you on the phone regarding the issue. I'm unable to reproduce this bug in my test environment so if we can talk on the phone it may give me some insight how to replicate the problem.

Thanks,
Angelo

Okay, thanks! It will probably have to be next  week at some point, once I know I'll email you.

Thanks again for your help!

It turns out I was able to fix it by leaving the "Default Media URL" blank as well as leaving theMedia Statistics' "Redirect URL 1" blank. (I use Podtrac). I have to make sure I enter the podcast manually with the redirect and all myself... But it works now.

Thanks again!

If you enter a URL in the "Default Media URL" field, then any episode that you create that does not start with a http:// will use that URL. If you are not careful, this can break downloads.

Another item to consider is if your media is hosted on a secure site, (https://) the "Default Media URL" must be blank and you also cannot use any redirect services. I would caution hosting media on a secure server as it may limit which podcatching clients can download your media.
