Two weeks ago my iTunes feed stopped updating. The RSS feed was fine, but iTunes just wasn't showing my latest episodes. I contacted iTunes support and they replied saying they had to "reset the text encoding." Now all the episodes are displaying properly, but my artwork, title, author, and subscription are gone. All of the settings in Powerpress remain the same, yet iTunes is not picking up the information.

iTunes told me to review their RSS tags help section.

Please help me get this straightened out!

iTunes = https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/rebooted-body-podcast-reprogram/id634732968
Feed = http://rebootedbody.com/feed/podcast/

Itunes is pulling "http://feeds.feedburner.com/therebootedbody" not your site's feed.

The feedburner feed does not have any of the correct tags for itunes in it but your site's feed does.

My suggestion is to leave feedburner.   Here is STEP BY STEP instructions on how to do that:  http://create.blubrry.com/manual/syndicating-your-podcast-rss-feeds/leaving-feedburner/   Follow these EXACTLY in order and you will be free of feedburner and won't have to worry about the extra layer of things to go wrong.

If you want to stay with feedburner,  make sure you turn off "smart cast".   You don't need it with powerpress' feed because all the tags are already there.   If you continue to have problems with your feed and you are still using feedburner, you will have to contact them for more help as we do not support feedburner.

Mike,

My confirmation email from iTunes when my podcast was accepted says that they're using http://rebootedbody.com/feed/podcast/

How did you determine they're using feedburner?

We have a tool to tell us where an iTunes iD is being pulled from.   Feedburner is your problem with iTunes not updating the image and other info as near as I can tell.

edit: You must have been using feedburner at some point and maybe used a plugin to redirect your feed?
