Media.blubrry.com broken
« on: February 22, 2013, 09:31:15 pm »
All my podcasts are broken at the moment because media.blubrry.com cannot be found. Is this a known problem and being fixed?

I am having the same problem. Feed no longer validates. Mp3 links now have "media.blubrry.com" etc. in the link and misdirect. Therefore the files no longer load in itunes, play on my site, etc.

My site:

enormocast.com

Feed: enormocast.com/feed/podcast/

Example:

The old link that still functions if pasted in browser:
http://enormocast.com/wp-content/uploads/podcasts/Enormo28Honnold.mp3

The new link from the feed that misdirects:
http://media.blubrry.com/enormocast/enormocast.com/wp-content/uploads/podcasts/Enormo28Honnold.mp3

This happened to all my mp3 links on the feed. Therefore the podcasts no longer play in itunes or on the site.

The post pages still shows the proper link in the podcast entry box.

Does anyone know what has happened and how to get the feed to validate again?

The media.blubrry.com thing is your stats redirect.  We have had some dns issues this weekend... See this post: http://blog.blubrry.com/2013/02/24/dns-issues/

If you want to disable the redirect, go into your powerpress settings and take out the stats redirect in the services and stats tab.

Reboot your computer and your internet connection to update the DNS first.
