Prefix in links or not?
« on: February 10, 2013, 05:49:53 pm »
I´m using wordpress with the powerpress plugin.

When I add a new podcast episode I write the direct link to my mp3 file in the 'Media Episode' box and hit the Verify button. So far all good. Powerpress will add the prefix 'media.blubrry.com/my-account' before all mp3 link in the feed so I get statistics right. But does blubrry count when a visitor is listening on my webpage? That link does not have to prefix. Does powerpress media players send statistics to blubrry?

My questions is: Should I add the link with the prefix myself in the 'Media Episode' box?

I found the aswer to my question here: http://forum.blubrry.com/index.php/topic,3109.0.html

I do NOT need to add a prefix on my own.

Right, PowerPress handles it both web pages and in your feeds.
