Problem Installing
« on: April 09, 2012, 06:46:16 am »
I've manually installed Powerpress and also used Wordpress' built in installation feature and I keep getting this error notification:

Quote
The website encountered an error while retrieving http://www.quickandsloppy.com/wp-admin/plugins.php?action=activate&plugin=powerpress%2Fpowerpress.php&plugin_status=all&paged=1&s&_wpnonce=99bf9d17b0. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.

And I can't access the site and have to delete the plugin.  I run 3.3.1, and I don't have any other plugins running except for Jetpack (new site).  Thanks for the help.

Believe it or not, I think that jetpack is the issue.   Try disabling jetpack and see if it works.

I have been told that Jetpack will be fixed in the next update of Wordpress. (but don't hold me to it)

Any suggestions for an easy install stat plugin?  I tried going to the old Wordpress.com stats, but it is missing the place to enter the API.

Google Analytics is great, but if you want to use WordPress.com stats, they you have to use their plugin Jet Pack.
