Using the Redirect URL - is it backdated?
« on: November 03, 2011, 12:28:30 pm »
I've just signed up for the stats, and am using the Wordpress Powerpress plugin. I've set up the redirect URL, but have a couple of questions:
1) I assume this means I do *not* need to add the redirect URL to the front of my media links - the plugin does it for me?
2) Do I need to go through previously published podcasts and add them there, or does the redirect URL automatically apply to those too?
3) And if I do have to change the media link, will this "break" anything, e.g. on iTunes?

Thanks, in advance!

1. If you have the redirect in the powerpress settings, you do not need to add it to the media URL.  To verify this, hover your mouse over the download link in your post and see if the redirect is there.
2. No, powerpress will add the redirect to all media files automatically.
3. The redirect should not break anything.

Happy Podcasting!
