On this week's show, we talk about the "march for the alternative" protest in England between a quarter and half a million protesters showed up to demand handouts. Then we talk about the glorious success of Egypt's "democratic uprising". Next we move to a study that claims nine countries are on the path to atheism, and we close with a discussion of the courageous and beautiful Pakistani Veena Malik.

We've obtained an exclusive interview with Yaron Brook. He is the President of the Ayn Rand Institute.

In it he tells the world for the first time about how he became an Atheist, his solution for America's disastrous foreign policy, the Tea Party, his outlook for economic recovery and more. This is the first in a two part installment. Stay tuned for the conclusion next week.

On this week's podcast, we discuss Dennis Prager's claim that our universities have declared war on faith, the Republican Budget compromise fiasco, Paul Ryan, and high gas prices. Are they likely to come down anytime soon? What made them get there in the first place?

On this week's show we discuss the Atlas Shrugged movie, and what it did for book sales. Taxes were due on the 18th, so we had to talk about taxation. Is taxation slavery? S&P signals they may downgrade the US credit rating....eventually. We close with a discussion of a UN attempt to give mother earth human rights. Seriously. That isn't hyperbole.

http://www.rationalpublicradio.com/podcast-april-26-2011-boeing-two-faced-tea-party-taliban-gas-prices.html

On this week's show, we discuss Boeing's union woes. 70% of the Tea Party is opposed to cuts in Medicare. The Taliban is still strong in Afghanistan. Can we admit nation building is a failure? President Obama has launched an investigation into why gas prices are so high. We do the legwork for him.

Also, listen in for a chance to win two free giveaways! You have a chance to get a copy of Atlas Shrugged, and a Walking liberty half dollar.

http://www.rationalpublicradio.com/rpr-exclusive-jack-spirko-interview.html

Jack Spirko from the survival podcast sat down with Rational Public Radio, and talked about his theory of modern survivalism. His theory centers around buying insurance for yourself in case of an emergency, but only through methods which improve your life today. If you are worried about the state of our economy this is a must listen show.

http://www.rationalpublicradio.com/podcast-may-11-2011-house-prices-aarp-social-security-banking-fascism-johnny-depp.html

We have alta fired up passionate show for you this week! Housing prices are falling faster than ever, but we are supposed to believe that the economy is recovering. The AARP claims we can save Social Security and Medicare if we just cut wasteful spending. They don't bother to show the math to prove it, and we don't bother to disguise our contempt. America is moving closer to being a fascist state, and the case of Citizen's Bank in Detroit is proof. We close with a discussion of Johnny Depp. He is a multi-cuturalist of the worst sort, and is desperately trying to claim victimhood status. That just doesn't pass the smell test.

http://www.rationalpublicradio.com/podcast-may-19-2011-republican-candidates-government-schools-climate-change.html

Who is the Republican Party going to run against Obama in 2012? So far the field looks terribly disappointing. Is the GOP going to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory yet again?

We bring you more evidence of the indoctrination that is happening in government owned schools (aka public schools). This is the sort of thing that happens when you have a legally mandated monopoly.

David Evans was a self-described climate change "alarmist", and now he is a "skeptic". Are the environmentalist rats fleeing the sinking ship of anthropogenic global warming?

We close with a discussion of the end of the world. The apocalypse. Armageddon. It's this Sunday! Or not. Why are religious people so gullible? Well, once you accept faith as a means of knowledge, it becomes terribly difficult to sort out fact from fiction.

http://www.rationalpublicradio.com/podcast-may-26-2011-debt-ceiling-gun-control-gay-marriage-japanese-capitalism.html

We've got good news, bad news, and downright weird news today. The government ignores it's own debt ceiling by raiding federal pensions. Is D.C. controlled by a criminal elite? We look at yet another disgusting of Government School indoctrination. Tucson schools are teaching 3rd graders that Capitalists are blood sucking vampires. We talk about the artist formerly known as global warming,  a piece about the difference between fascist business owners that demand bailout and Capitalists. We close with some good news. For the first time ever, a majority of Americans support gay marriage. Does that mean biblical influence is lessening?

http://www.rationalpublicradio.com/podcast-june-5-2011-iran-gop-candidates-sharia-law-magic.html

Jeff and Scott were in a pretty good mood this week. They make fun of Ahmadinejad's problems with the Iranian parliament, and go on to lament the terrible GOP presidential candidate field. Things turn serious with a discussion of Sharia law and the death of Katya Koren. Have extremists hijacked a peaceful religion or does Islam really command death? They close with a bit about the consequences of believing that magic is real. Hope you enjoy!

http://www.rationalpublicradio.com/podcast-june-8-2011-presidential-hair-greenspan-earn-less-israel.html

There's more talk about the Republican presidential field. It's getting weirder and uglier, but it isn't getting any more appealing. Is a vaguely free market candidate who doesn't want to enforce Christian edict with the power of law too much to ask for? Apparently it is.

We talk about Alan Greenspan's hypocrisy, and general idiocy. He is desperately trying to dodge the blame for the problems he caused, but we make sure to call him out on it. Not that Bernanke is any better, but he is truly Greenspan's intellectual protege.

Next we move to Obamacare. The Solicitor General is claiming in court that the healthcare mandate isn't really a mandate. All you have to do to avoid it is earn less. It's a "let them eat cake" level of detachment from reality in today's economic climate.

Finally, we get back to some international news. The Syrians are sacrificing their own people in order to paint Israel as the bad guy and regain the Golan heights. Of course, the only use they have for the Golan heights is to attack Israel. Doubtless, the world will blame Israel for the killings anyway.

http://www.rationalpublicradio.com/podcast-june-17-2011-weiner-ayn-rand-jesus-obamacare-sex-slavery.html

On the agenda for today: Obama's contempt for the constitution and congress. He's blatanlty ignoring the war powers act. Of course congress is too cowardly to vote for war, so it's hard to blame him too much. We talk about Ayn Rand vs. Jesus. Is the GOP trying to have its cake and eat it too? More than a third of businesses expect to drop healthcare coverage in 2014 when Obamacare's uglier provisions start to take effect. Lastly, a Kuwaiti politician is calling for the legalization of sex slavery. Apparently female POWs are the best candidates for a life of rape and torment. She checked with Islamic clerics and scholars, and her idea is totally Koran approved.

http://www.rationalpublicradio.com/podcast-golf-summit-obama-ethanol-subsidies-10th-amendment.html

There's lots of good news for this week. The 10th amendment is making strides. Individuals now have standing to sue the federal government for overstepping its constitutional bounds. Obama holds a secretive golf summit. So much for his promised transparency. The senate votes to eliminate ethanol subsidies. It's about time!

Robb Wolf - Paleo Solutions - interview
« Reply #14 on: July 14, 2011, 07:03:58 pm »
http://www.rationalpublicradio.com/rpr-interview-robb-wolf.html

We caught up with fitness guru Robb Wolf to talk about America's weight problem. In addition to writing the bestselling book "The Paleo Solution" he is also the co-host of the "Paleo Solution" podcast.

He explains why government lies are to blame for the obesity epidemic. It turns out that following the government sponsored "food pyramid" is just about the worst thing you can do.

Next, Robb clues us in on what a healthy diet actually looks like. The answer is pretty shocking, it's almost diametrically opposite to the conventional wisdom.
