Audio Players Not Showing On PC
« on: November 04, 2010, 08:02:17 am »
I have viewed the web site on two different PCs in two different locations one on XP and one on W7. Both could not display any of the audio players that I chose within PowerPress Audio Player setup. One one of them I had to install the SWF player but wasn't prompted that I needed to. I just had broken images on all the audio posts.

Is there not a way to tell the viewer that they need to install this? Better yet is there a way to use a different audio player interface other than flash?

I'm using the latest version of Wordpress and the MU theme.

Thank you
Jim

Currently in powerpress, there are only flash players in this version.  We are working on adding HTML5 in a future version.  HTML 5 will only work in browsers that support it.

As far as letting people know they need flash, you could put a little text on your page for the podcasts.  I would think that most people would have flash installed.
