Filename changes in iTunes
« on: October 18, 2010, 12:58:31 am »
When I upload my podcast to my server via a FTP client the filename is titleinitials-episode#-episode.mp3 Example: "MAP-002-Episode.mp3"  After it downloads in iTunes the filename is changed to: "Full Title Name_Episode 0 2.mp3"  Is there a setting in Powerpress that affects the name of the file?  I have searched the forums but didn't see anything related to the issue.  Thanks for any help.

Regards,
Gary

Gary,

iTunes takes your blog's title and makes that the title while looking at it in iTunes.  If you find the file on your hard drive it will be the name you specified.

There is no settings that I know of to make your file name the "title" in the id3 tags.
