Player Display Error
« on: June 17, 2010, 08:56:12 pm »
Greets:
I'm using the latest version of PowerPress on my radio show's web site, velanche.com.

If you look at the sidebar, you'll see that a player is erroneously displayed. I don't have any code in the sidebar that would allow the player to display there, and it's mildly distracting.

If anyone has a clue as to how I can fix the display issue, I'd appreciate it. I'm using WP 3.0 (but it started happening in version 2.9.2).

Thanks!
Velanche

Velanche,

It looks like something either in your Theme or a Sidebar widget is pulling an excerpt of your April 8th Episode's post.  It's also strange in that it only on your home page and not on any other page.  I would start by looking at the "be in the know!" block on your sidebar and see if there is something in there doing it.  If not, it's likely a theme issue.

You could try selecting "yes"  in powerpress where it says " Having Theme issues? " under appearance.

At least that is where I would start.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the reply, Mike; I'll have a look soon and get back to you, and let you know the outcome.

All the best,
