Remove Podcast from the iTunes Store but keep it on Site.

Hi,

I'm new to the forum and MIGHT have posted this in the wrong section, but I'd like to remove a Podcast I created from the iTunes store but keep it on my Wordpress site?

The iTunes store advised me to add the following code to my RSS feed: <itunes:block> however I have NO IDEA where to put this code in order to get it removed?

Any help would be appreciated,

Let me simplify my request, I want to use the <itunes:block> tag in my Podcast, how do I go about adding this???

This is currently not an option in PowerPress. I've added it to the feature TODO list.

so this podcast of mine is actually the main podcast feed.

how do i go about removing all the episodes from it?

You may be able to create a FeedBurner feed with no episodes in it, then set your itunes-new-feed-url setting in PowerPress to that new feedBurner feed. This would tell everyone who is subscribed to your iTunes feed to switch to that new empty feed. Then you can add the <itunes:block> attribute as well.

Keep in mind though that anyone who is not using iTunes who subscribed to your RSS feed will still see your podcast episodes. If you really don't want anyone to access them via a feed, you really should delete them from your site.

that all seems pretty far fetched just to add one little bit of code, do any other users have any suggestions?

If i uninstalled powerpress would it remove my podcast from the itunes store?

Nope, I only offered that as a suggestion until we release a version of PowerPress with the feature you are requesting.
